On Monday, 1000’s of Sutter Wellbeing nurses and health care workers participated in a strike at 15 services throughout Northern California. The a person-day strike was around staffing and pandemic-connected protocols, in accordance to the California Nurses Association[CNA].

Terah Baker, who is a Registered Nurse in the Trauma/Neuro ICU at Sutter Health and fitness Roseville, said nurses and healthcare employees were being sent an email from Sutter Overall health prior to the strike, stating any nurse or employee who participated in the strike would not be authorized to return to work till Saturday.
“On April 13, I acquired an e mail from our CEO, Brian Alexander, stating in essence that if we went forward with the strike, then we would not be ready to return to get the job done till 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 23,” Baker stated. “However, Alexander explained that if we known as off the strike, we could return to work in just 24-48 several hours.”
