Physical Therapy: a Gentle Discipline that Deserves to be better Known!

In Western Europe, when it comes to making an appointment with one’s therapist, a reflex deeply rooted in the behavior of patients with specific pain, is precisely a visit to one’s massage-therapist.

The physical therapy program in France, for example, is of a very limited enrollment; it sometimes requires a preparatory year in advance in medicine to be awarded by the National Institutes of physiotherapy training. The therapist does not diagnose and, unlike the chiropractor, there is no corrective manipulation. Physiotherapy provides an approach that has the power to “heal without hurting” and consequently, there is no recorded case of malpractice.
